REQUIREMENTS

For a qualified Horticulturist or experienced gardener, perhaps seeking to progress towards a semi managerial role, the exciting opportunity of either a supervisory or a team leading role has arisen to join a well established bespoke professional gardens and grounds maintenance business based in Burwash, East Sussex. The ideal candidates will have proven horticultural skill, hands on, physically fit, able to lead and be able to share knowledge as well capable of using skill and initiative to achieve the best possible results in a time efficient manner whilst upholding good horticultural practice.

A recognised hands on Hort qualification is advantageous but not essential to either role. EG ND, RHS City and Guilds

The ability to interact directly with Clients in this non micro managed role is advantageous. We tend garden areas up to 10 acres, Cemeteries of global importance, "gated" communities as well as private family gardens.

Ideally, you will or have;

• a valid UK valid Driving license and have transport to our rural yard.

• able to competantly operate a full range of garden machinery.

• above average Plant identification skills.

• diverse Horticultural ability for large, currently up to 10 acres and more typical gardens.

• ideally hold PA1 PA6 though training will be offered to the right person.

• the desire to get on, be flexible, punctual and reliable.

• be physically fit and able for this demanding profession.

• be personable, capable and of a trustworthy disposition.

• good communication skills.

• be HSE aware though training will be provided.

• be able to work in all weathers.

RENUMERATION
